We are immediately hiring workers for a Transfer Station to assist in the operation and maintenance of the facility and equipment. 

Role: Transfer Station Floor Worker

Location: Minden, NV

Pay rate: $19 per hour

Shift: Wed - Sun, 8:30am - 5pm

Responsibilities

• Customer service: assist customers with the correct handling of materials

• Organize, sort and process recyclable materials

• General cleaning and maintenance throughout the facility, including equipment, buildings and the grounds

• Report any issues, concerns or improvement suggestions to management

• Participate in the disposal of materials and debris per SOP to keep facility work areas clean

• Occasional need to drive light truck

• Regular use of forklift, hand tools and other equipment

• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Ability to work in compliance of safety and other procedures, including use of required PPE at all times, traffic safety, lock-out/tag-out and reporting

• Ability to work in indoor or outdoor setting, use of machinery, work in proximity to heavy machinery

• Ability to perform physical labor tasks

• Ability to communicate professionally in both written and verbal forms

• Basic computer skills

• Possess a valid Class C Driver’s License
