Data Entry/International Order Processing - Temp to Hire Position

Pay - $25-30/hr

Job DESCRIPTION-

The individual’s main responsibility is to review/input orders daily (either automatically or manually) into in-house computer system and validate for correct terms, discount, pricing and able to complete the updates within the required timeframe.

Other tasks include review and respond to customers’/local/overseas correspondents’ queries, order management, billing, etc.

 

Job Requirements-

• Detail oriented with high percentage of accuracy.
• Good analytical, mathematical and reasoning ability.
• Excellent business communication skills (written and verbal).
• Must be deadline driven, able to multi-task and with good organizational skills.
• Familiar with Export Finance (Letters of Credit, Collection Drafts, etc.) and Shipping terminology.
• Computer proficient and with extensive knowledge of Microsoft WORD, Microsoft EXCEL, Microsoft ACCESS.
• Knowledge of/or Exposure to general Sales and Inventory / Accounting Operating Systems.
• Knowledge of basic Accounting procedures, billing and related fields.
• Some Customer Service

Education/Experience/QUALIFICATIONS

• B.A. degree from four-year college or university desirable, or at least one to two years of experience within a financial environment with general exposure to International or Global Trade operations.
• Candidate who has taken courses in Accounting preferable.

•      Certification in Global Logistics or Trade Operations welcome.

• To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The individual must maintain an organized work area, files, etc. contributing to the efficiency and accuracy of work within the assigned workday. The individual must be able to comprehend assignments and ask for additional information or clarification until the assignment is understood.
