 Well-established Commercial Construction company seeking an experience Certified Payroll Specialist to join the team! This is the perfect position for someone looking for a flexible schedule.

 

Location: Shingle Springs, CA

Pay: $28-30hr

Schedule: Flexible, 1-2 days per week

 

Process payroll for 10-12 people on a weekly and bi-weekly schedule

Ensure that employees are paid correctly 

Collect and verify timesheets

Maintain payroll compliance with tax laws and regulations 

Prepare paychecks and direct deposits

Onboard new hires into the payroll system

Maintain employee information up to date

Submit payroll reports to federal agencies

 

Qualifications:

Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or relevant certification

Minimum of 3 years of experience in payroll processing

Proficient in MS Word and Excel

Knowledge with Elation Systems a plus!

Strong attention to detail 

Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise extreme discretion
