We’re seeking a reliable, experienced Warehouse Lead to oversee day-to-day operations at our warehouse and ensure smooth, efficient shipping processes and customer service.

Location: Cameron Park, CA

Schedule: Monday-Friday; 7:30am-4:30pm or when shipments are picked up for the day

Pay: $22-24hr

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee warehouse operations, ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment
  • Mentor and motivate a small warehouse crew—think team captain
  • Lead production planning activities to ensure inventory levels meet order demand and minimize waste
  • Coordinate LTL shipments, including preparation of BOLs, manage freight pickups, and optimize shipping costs
  • Lead and support warehouse team members to maintain a safe, productive work environment
  • Use ShipStation to manage shipping workflows, print labels, track orders, and troubleshoot issues
  • Manage EDI integrations to ensure seamless communication with retail and distribution partners
  • Maintain clean, organized inventory and enforce FIFO procedures for perishable products
  • Ensure quality control standards are met in all outgoing orders
  • Assist with receiving, stocking, packing, and shipping 
  • Professionally communicate with vendors, carriers, and customers regarding order status, scheduling, and issue resolution

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a warehouse lead or supervisory role, ideally in food or beverage distribution
  • Must be forklift certified 
  • Computer savvy, data entry and experience Google Sheets
  • Proficiency with ShipStation and a solid understanding of shipping platforms
  • Experience coordinating LTL shipping (freight class, BOL, freight quotes, etc.)
  • Working knowledge of EDI systems for inventory and order fulfillment processes
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to lead a team, set priorities, and meet deadlines in a dynamic environment
  • Able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a temperature-controlled warehouse
