Office Assistant

Are you organized, detail-oriented, and proactive? Do you have a passion for numbers and excel at multitasking? Construction Contractor seeking an Office Assistant/Accounting Assistant to join our team and assist the Office Manager in maintaining the smooth operation of our office and providing support to our office team. In this role, you will be responsible for handling various administrative tasks, assisting with accounting functions such as generating PO's, billing per job, and generating financial reports. If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and excellent communication skills, we would love to hear from you. 

Job Type: Full-time/ In-office

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30am-5:00pm

Location: Gardnerville, NV

Pay: $19.84-23.89/ per hour; depending on experience

 

Requirements:

  • Proficient in QuickBooks Desktop
  • Experience working with Excel spreadsheets including pivot tables
  • At least 2 years of experience in Cost Accounting; accounting degree preferred not required.
  • Must have knowledge of Residential Construction and terms.
  • Experience with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable.
  • Will assist Office Manager with clerical work and other tasks as needed.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail recommended.
  • Will occasionally answer the phone and interact with clients and Subcontractors.
  • Be open to new experiences and learning opportunities.
