Export Coordinator

 Working in the International Department, the Export Coordinator will be responsible for the control and administration of shipments, documents, communications, and payment presentations under letters of credit, documentary collections, wire transfers, etc. and/or any financial transaction for all product produced by authorized manufacturers from all origins/warehouses throughout USA, Belgium, Japan and South America.

Job Duties:
- Manage invoicing, logistics, and shipping control for all international orders to ensure global sales goals are met within required timeframes.
- Receive, print, review, and verify all shipping documents for Factory Direct Shipments from overseas offices.
- Ensure invoice accuracy by cross-checking data in Compass and Garpac, including style, color, total pairs, and pricing.
- Resolve pricing discrepancies with the Finance Team before invoicing using our order entry system.
- Address document discrepancies or clarifications with factories through associates and international colleagues.
- Provide invoice copies to the Supervisor for pending reports and organize them for the Export and Import Finance Teams to facilitate factory payments.
- Prepare and issue all necessary shipping documents, including transportation instructions, certificates of origin, commercial invoices, packing lists, and any other required documentation for shipments originating from distribution centers in the USA and Belgium, factories, or other company locations, vendors, or suppliers.
- Process all USA and Belgium shipments by creating releases in Compass.
- Generate and process Compass Order and Pickticket Downloads for shipments from the USA DC and Belgium EDC, ensuring accurate Goods Packed Reports for international accounts.
- Collaborate with Customer Service, Allocations, Customs, Finance, Retail, DC, EDC, and other relevant teams to resolve Compass download issues or discrepancies.
- Communicate with international customers, forwarders, carriers, and truckers to coordinate and expedite shipments from the USA, Belgium, factories, or other sources.
- Interacts with appropriate personnel both within and outside the company in processing logistics and/or credit and payment activity.
REQUIREMENTS:
2-4 Years of experience in International Export operations
B.A. degree preferred
Knowledge of shipping procedures, freight forwarding and export terminology
Proficient with Microsoft Word and Excel
Familiarity with general inventory operating systems
Ability to handle high volume of shipments, communications, documentation and filing.
Ability to focus, multi-task, prioritize projects and handle pressure of deadlines and goals
Excellent communicator (email, phone, zoom, etc.)
